Well known and highly sought after for his signature hairstyles and amazing cuts, Bogart has a real passion for hair! He has mastered his own technique, which he calls a “Japanese sashimi style of vertical cutting” which allows for hair to grow longer and healthier between cuts. Utilizing both wet and dry cutting methods, each of Bogart’s styles takes on a personality of it’s own, giving each client the fresh and sexy look they want!

Back in the 80’s “big hair” and rock bands went hand in hand, and it was during this time that Bogart discovered his love for cutting and styling hair. While traveling around the country performing with his band, his natural talent for cutting hair came in handy and he started cutting and styling hair for his fellow band members.  Before long, word spread across the industry and Bogart became known for creating the rockin’ hairstyles that musicians and fans adored. Some of the biggest bands around, from Steven Tyler and Aerosmith to Motley Crue, the Goo Goo Dolls and others, started going to Bogart for his trademark haircuts!

Following his love for hair styling, Bogart decided to leave his band and dedicate himself to learning and mastering his craft. Shortly after this he was fortunate to meet and begin learning from European hair master and founder of Carlton Hair, Greg Hoyer, creator of one of California’s largest and most respected chains of hair salons. After working as a personal assistant and apprentice for one Los Angeles’ top stylists, Bogart took the leap and started off on his own path. With training from some of the best in the industry, he quickly got up and running doing hair in some of the most popular salons around. Before long Bogart was cutting and styling hair for television shows like “The Wayne Brady Show”, “NYPD Blue”, “NCIS” and “7th Heaven”. Word continued to spread and his clientele continued to grow and expand.

As products advance, so do styles and looks, and Bogart stays on top of what’s current by learning and studying everything from coloring to new products and trending techniques for cutting and styling. He tests and instructs for new product lines, from blow dryers and styling products to innovate items such as GlamPalm’s new ceramic-coated, ionic flat iron, specially designed to prevent hair pulling and give a safer smoother look to his client’s hair. Currently, Bogart is utilizing a cutting-edge keratin based adhesive for incredible extensions in half the time for healthier hair that lasts just as long as traditional extension methods.
